The annual TROPICAL LAB international art camp is an intensive and highly engaging fourteen-day event, bringing together more than 25 students from various art colleges and institutions around the world. The event includes a series of workshops, talks and seminars guided by established international and Singaporean artists, curators, writers, and historians culminating in an exhibition curated by LASALLE’s curatorial division, Institute of Contemporary Art Singapore at LASALLE College of the Arts. 

This is a site developed for the sole purpose of serving as an archive of the Tropical Lab ecosystem and its past years of activity. It will house a repository of its works and people, as well as feature highlights and interviews of some key participants’ artistic development since their visit to Tropical Lab, impressions of academic representatives of participating universities, as well as the views of the Tropical Lab exhibitions’ former curators.
